sorry*
I cant take photos
on this computer
I need help with my maths though
then how can we help you
Im not able to do no photo for my question
how do I solve this question
6 ( 5/6 X - 2/3 ) = -9
(the X is not apart of the fraction)
thank you

yepp
alrightt
in an equation, you can divide the both sides with same number, as long as its not 0
and that 6 looks annoying there
so why dont you divide both sides to 6
okay
$\frac{6}{6}( \frac{5}{6} x - \frac{2}{3} ) = \frac{-9}{6}$
Calculus is ∫exy #Justice4Viata
like this
what did u find
(5/6 X - 2/3) = -1,5
$\frac{5}{6} x - \frac{2}{3} = \frac{-3}{2}$
okay since we got rid of the 6, its easier now
Calculus is ∫exy #Justice4Viata
what do we get rid of now
what do you think we should
the 2/3
i need to go -2/3 + 2/3 and I need to go -3/2 2/3
$\frac{5}{6} x = \frac{2}{3} - \frac{3}{2}$
Calculus is ∫exy #Justice4Viata
hmhm and now?
additioning the 2/3 with -3/2 is same as substarcting 2/3 from 3/2
oh ok thanks
$\frac{2}{3} - \frac{3}{2} = \frac{2}{3} + \frac{-3}{2}$
Calculus is ∫exy #Justice4Viata
is it 5/6 X = 5/6
almost
ohh i forgot the -
$\frac{5}{6} x = \frac{4}{6} - \frac{9}{6}$
Calculus is ∫exy #Justice4Viata
yupp
5/6 X = - 5/6
so whats x??
do I need to first get rid of the 5/6 on the left ?
hold on
ok
$\frac{5}{6} x = - \frac{5}{6}$
Calculus is ∫exy #Justice4Viata
right?
yep
Calculus is ∫exy #Justice4Viata
$2$ x $-1$ = $-2$
Calculus is ∫exy #Justice4Viata
so if we mutliply something with -1, we would get the negative of that same number
yeah
Calculus is ∫exy #Justice4Viata
what can x be, according to that logic
hm
here let me try doing it on paper
ok
same number, mutplied by -1, i got same number but just in negative form
so here
$\frac{5}{6} x = - \frac{5}{6}$
Calculus is ∫exy #Justice4Viata
i am multiplying 5/6 with a number, that its gonna give me the negative form of the same number
what number that can be
either -1 or -5/6
why 5/6
because the - form of the number on the left is -5/6 and I need to get rid of the left side to single it out
$\frac{5}{6}$ x $\frac{-5}{6}$ = $- \frac{25}{36}$
Calculus is ∫exy #Justice4Viata
and -25/36 is not equal to -5/6
why are you getting rid of it, when you are doing an equation, dont immedietly think of elimating. This is a balanace scale, as long as you add, multiply, divide, substarct things from both sides, you can solve it
so if we mutliply something with -1, we would get the negative of that same number
so if
im multiplying 5/6 with x, and i get -5/6, the same number but just in negative form, what can x possibly be
-1
exactly
ohhh that makes way more sense
right
thank you for that
you are welcome
you are a good student thats why! I'm glad I helped
have a nice day ! I think ill be able to do good tmrw now
i believe in you! Have a nice day too and good luck tomorrow
