Why didn't you do the normal way of differentiation. UV method?
See, both the denominators will cancel
to what yazim said by chain rule:
dy/dx = dy/dt * dt/dx
find dy/dt
find dx/dt then take the reciprocal
multiply both results
cos2t cancels out
i didnt simplify the rest but i think this could be a good way to do it
edit: tried to do it and failed lol idk if there's a better way to do it
