can sm1 help me with (c) i did a and b
by b, just maximize A(x)
how do i maximise stuff
dA/dx=0
ohh ok
then check if those values are maximums...
i got 0=1344-480x
(it is, it's a concave down parabola)
does maximum mean that dy/dx will be negative
maxima (at differentiable points) are turning points
hence have derivative 0
almost like why we set the derivative to be 0..
but anyway, you can easily find where the maximum occurs (and verify it is a maximum by 1st/2nd derivative test), then just determine the maximum area
i didtn learn how to do dat yet
i only know how to do the first part where u make it 0
you didnt pass grade 9?
i can do dat
so then... you can do the rest of the question
since the rest is just algebra... and evaluating a function
ok
