Yeah, that is one of the possible approaches: make the equation of the line through the two known points, then check whether the third point lies on it.
yh
and then find the coordinates of the third points by using it and b and the equation i have
Can i also do it using area of triangle i am not getting that approach
Oh, you can do it in the following way: find the area of a triangle formed by these three points. If it's equal to 0, then they lie on the same line.
yh its given they are collinear
we need to find x and y
I get that.
Well, the first approach is still probably the easiest.
ik but since i am in 10th grade and the first method isnt taught in schools or books maybe my exam checker wont accept it
Really? That's very odd.
That is probably the first idea you should have in this case.
yh i did by that only
but u know typical schools dont accept if i solve a problem with a higher standard solution
Really?
