#Should I do Specs or stick with Methods?

IDK if you guys have this, but over here, we have 3 math programs. Maths, Specialist and Applications. Apps are easy (which I'm not doing) ones, Methods is the one I'm doing, but I'm not sure about the spec. I've heard people say its easier and harder than methods so no reliable information.
