Two workers received that real order. At first, the first worker worked for 1 hour, then for 4 hours - both together. The first worker alone could fulfill this order 5 hours later than the second. How many hours would it take each worker to complete the order working individually? answers 25h 20h

Hm, yeah. Seems like it's correctly translated. But the answer can't be what's given, as that doesn't satisfy the first condition.

Probably.

#

Oh, actually.

#

I've looked online, and there's a variant of this exercise where in the first condition they only do 40% of the job.

#

In that case we get:
v1 + 4(v1 + v2) = 2/5
1/v1 - 1/v2 = 5

#

And that does produce the given answer.

#

Maybe they copied the problem from another resource, but forgot about the 40%?
