- Wait patiently for a helper to come along.

I’ve managed to get that the radius is sqrt 117
But that’s all
Please ping me as I have discord notis off
It doesn’t give any coordinates of O or N
O is your origin so it's coordinates is (0,0)
and since N is on the x axis
it's coordinates be (x,0)
to find that x
first you'll have to find the equation of the line MO
How do you know 0 is the origin
The gradient of OM is -3 I’m pretty sure if the centre of 0,0
So gradient of NM is 1/3
no it's -3/2
it's -3/2
Oop
Then I have the equation of that line but how does that help me find the area
im getting there
plug in the value of the gradient in y-y1=m(x-x1)
this will give u MN's equation
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
then represent MN's equation in y=mx+c form
where c = x intercept
so from that u get N's coordinate
you're understanding what I'm saying or am I being too quick?
I’m understanding it
good good
Just kicking myself lol
lmao
I don’t have any paper on me so can’t figure it out rn but will later
okay and one more thing
use the distance formula to find the length of MN and OM
then calculate the area
Yup
It’s the y-y1 =m(x-x1) I forgot about entirely
And didn’t know if O was 0,0 or not
I just didn’t know lol
now you do, good luck man
Thankyou so much
