wouldn't then we can find the value of y by prime factorising each of the factors from 1 to 36 and sum up all the exponents of 3's?

so 6!=3^2 * 80
or 3^1 * 240

33 = 3¹×11
36 = 2²×3²
sum up all the exponents of 3's
1+1+2+1+1+2+1+1+3+1+1+2 = 17
i usually do this by like
number of 3 factors: 36/3 = 12
number of 9 factors: 36/9 = 4
number of 27 factors: floor(36/27) = 1
number of 81 factors: none
and theres an interesting pattern here which is that
for n! and i want to find the number of a prime p to the k

first do floor n/p + floor n/p^2 + floor n/p^3
or in this case 36/3 = 12 then divide by 3 to get 4 then divide by 3 and floor it to get 1
its strange why this works but ok
it's cuz 36/9 = (36/3)/3 = 12/3
and 12 is the result of the previous
and so on
