alright
you know how to factor a quadratic right? multiply the coefficient of x^2 and the constant term and split the middle term in such a way
Yeahh basically distrubitive property
Yess
basically
when we factor
we want to split the middle term
in such a way that we get something common
let me share it with an example
Okieee :)
$x^2+2x+1$
$x^2+x+x+1$
$x(x+1)+1(x+1)$
$(x+1)(x+1)$
Now, i split the middle term as such

Oh it a lottle confusing
But I see how it workss
the main idea on how you split the term
what if term is odd
is actually simple but hard to explain in text, so i can share a video
Okieeee
no the term doesnt need to be split in half
it can be split into two different terms
lemme give an example

anyway, you can refer to this video to learn the pattern in which you have to split the middle term
OKIEEEEE
thats exactly what it is :D
yh
thank youu i watch video now
OH I got the second one right but idk the first one because why is it negative
in the firstt
yay
