The answer sheet says $24.66, I got $24.43, how is it done? Am I right?

A class takes in a funbdraising project. They buy 200 toys form a manufacturer who normally sells them for $12 each (GST included) but he provides them to the class less GST of 15%.

The class then package each toy fro an additional cost of $2.50 per toy. The class has further fixed costs of $215 for various things and can sell their toys without having to pay any tax.

If the class sold all their toys for a profit of $2131, how much did they sell each toy for?

oh wait

#

yea you do need the 15% discount thats not necesarily correct
say it was 10 dollars and you had gst of 20%
now its 5% gst so it costs 10.5
10.5
a 15% discount on 12 is 10.2

#

probably me interpreting gst wrong

#
