Given a polynomial f with a root of x = c, (x-c) is a factor of f
- What are the three roots of f
- What are the three factors of f
- What is the product of those factors (aka f)
Notice how 3, or x = 3, is a root of the polynomial
This means that (x-3) is a factor of the polynomial
Multiply them out
Where do I multiply them
Like multiply (x-3)(x-2/5)(x+1/2) and the result is your polynomial
Wait what's the constanr
I thought this was final
just multiply that by k and say that k ∈ R-{0} should be good
Oh I multiply this by 3/5
just got x^3+-29x^2/10-x/2+9/25
