i think if you know A = (1,0) you can let lines AB and AC (which are symmetrical) go through that point and you can figure out what slopes will make the line tangent to the ellipse by solving for x and you'll get a quadratic with a discriminant of exactly 0, meaning there is 1 solution, aka 1 point of intersection
well the line is tangent to the ellipse so it looks fine
