it just says one digit is 3 more than the other
what’s stopping y from being 3 more
In this there is 2 ways to solve the question both are correct... But only way gives the answer correct does that make sense?
welll if you have -3 and -6 that’s clearly incorrect

so if x-y=3 we’re saying that in our number
the first digit is greater
but the first digit can also be smaller
and actually it makes less sense if the first digit is greater since the first number is multiplied by 7 and the second 4
so the first digit has to be smaller
