- Wait patiently for a helper to come along.
- Once someone helps you, say thank you and close the thread with:

- Feel free to nominate the person for helper of the week in #helper-nominations
- Do not ping the mods, unless someone is breaking the rules.
- If you're happy with the help you got here, and the server overall, you can contribute financially as well:
hmm
wait no you can’t cross out the 2
OH got it
so we get 12xy-6x^2, a 2 is factored out and eliminated with the denominator
It's probably easier to bring -(3/2) in front first.
(d/dx)(-3x^2/2y) = -(3/2)(d/dx)(x^2 y^(-1)) = -(3/2)(2xy^(-1) - x^2 y^(-2) (dy/dx)) = -3x/y + (3/2)(x^2/y^2)(dy/dx)
hi, how can i simplified this?
Try not to intrude in other people's threads, create your own next time.
This is a geometric progression with first term 1 and ratio -x.
I understand, im so sorry!
