help on finding zeros and putting into factored form

In this vid when she finds the real zeros and then puts them in factored form she says you put a 3 on the outside because she divided by 3 on the left of the second image how does that work?

she is just making it equal

still the same

but she wants everything inside to be an integer

I'm a little confused how she gets the 3

its just to make it an integer

since -1/3 *3 = -1

since

if all the x terms have coefficients 1

then we have 1^4 = 1

but we need 3x^4

so we need one of the x to be 3x

and that one was convenient

oh ok and so it isn't based off her dividing by 3?

well it kind of is

she made the coeffcient of the original 3x^4 to x^4

to make it easier

and she needs to turn it back into 3x^4

so multiply one of the roots by 3

to get the 3x she needs
