well what transformation is indicated by the pup(x)
what transform of dog(x)
The transformation being indicated is a 1/2 stretch
And being moved to the right 2
it's actually a -1/2
I understand that, how would I graph the piecewise functions
I’m getting messed up since it’s not like 1 graph
well you see theres a point (6,3)
just transform that point
and youll know that on pup(x) that point serves the same "role" as in, it's the end of that line segment
you can also transform the (3,6) one and youll know it will be the sharp angle
I’m sorry I’m not understanding
So I move the 6,3 point to the right 2 and then
How do I do the -1/2 stretch
just multiply the vertical coordinate by -1/2
So sumthn like this
@uncut valve I’m still lost
So how would I graph that
Would it be a straight line down
the point just goes on (8,-1.5)
similarly (3,6) goes to (5,6) then (5,-3)
and you know there has to be a straight line between those
Okay bet ty
