Assuming that that triangle has equal lengthed-legs, we can calculate x using the pythagorean formula.
x = sqrt(2* 10^2) = 10 * sqrt(2).
The question doesn't state if it is an isosceles triangle or not, therefore I cannot validate this answer, but as there is no other info, we can only assume so.

By the definition of an isosceles triangle, two of the side lengths are congruent.
So now you can use the pythagorean theorem to solve for x.
Alternatively, you can use the concept of a 45-45-90 triangle (isosceles right triangle).
