For set {z ∈ C / |z-1| + |z+5| = 10}, when Re(z) is the x−axis and Im(z) is the y-axis.
I need help how to rearraɡe the equation into term of Re(z) and Im(z) so that i can ɡraph this.

Note that this is basically saying that this is a locus of points such that the sum of distances from its member to points z = 1 and z = -5 is a constant 10.
Do you recall there being a (hint: quadratic) curve with the property that each of its points has constant sum of distances to two fixed points?
