Okay so for the first one
question 6 irene one
So assume that she does x questions correctly
This gives us that she does 30-x questions wrong
Okay
So now we know that she does x questions correct, so it means she gets how many marks?
Think about it
She gets 2x marks because each question gives her 2 marks, so x questions is 2x marks
And now we know she does 30-x questions wrong
So we subtract 1(30-x), which is 30-x, because she loses 1 mark for each wrong question
So 2x-(30-x) is the amount of marks she gets
And the question has given her she gets 21 marks

For problem solving set 44
Do you notice a pattern in the numbers
Like how much they increase by?
For problem 3
The triangle problem
Let’s call the smallest side x
Then the other sides are x + 14 and x + 30
Then use triangle inequality theorem to find the smallest value of x
And plug x back into the sides to get your answer
what’s that- i think i gotta learn more
ohhh
Otherwise their lengths would not be able to reach the length of the biggest side
And it wouldn’t be a triangle
