First, define 'period'. What are they asking?
A period is the time it takes to do what? Go across and back, or one full trip back to the same point. That's one oscillation.
Try looking at it from a units point of view too. So what is the unit for period? (unit of time) per oscillation. Right? so like seconds per oscillation (and to avoid a common mistake in the future be careful, I originally said 'seconds per swing' but that sounds like I mean per swing one way—no, it's the whole amount of time to go across and back).
You have 10 oscillations and 8 seconds.
Let me go look up the rules, I'm terribly sorry if I'm breaking one. I need to know how much I'm allowed to give away.
