divide both sides by 2
sin²(x-3) sin(x-2) = 0
zero factor principle
sin²(x-3) = 0
-> sin(x-3) = 0
-> x-3 = 0, x-3 = pi
-> x = 3, x = pi+3
sin(x-2) = 0
-> x-2 = 0, x-2 = pi
-> x = 2, x = pi+2
x = {2, 3, pi+2, pi+3}
wha? but the sin(x-2)=0 stays the same
you just divided one of them, which was 2sin squared
wdym
wait, but the answer given is 7π/6 and 11π/6
how come?
