P(A|B) = P(A n B)/P(B)
P(A|B) = 0.18/0.6 = 0.3 = P(A)
so both events are independent
b) P'(B) = 1 - P(B) = 1 - 0.6 = 0.4
c) P(B|A) = P(B n A)/P(A)
P(B|A) = 0.18/0.3 = 0.6
d) 0.3 (from (a))
e) P(A or B) = P(A U B)
P(A U B) = P(A) + P(B) - P(A n B)
P(A U B) = 0.3 + 0.6 - 0.18 = -0.9
