lim(x->7, cx²+2x) = lim(x->7, x³-cx)
c(7)²+2(7) = 7³-c(7)
49c+14 = 343-7c
49c+7c = 343-14
56c = 329
c = 329/56 = 47/8
sure, but I may not respond fast cuz today not really much free time
Np I need help with this one too
Idk if I did it right
for (a), it should be 12/5, cuz of the given constraint
(b) cos 120 = -1/2
arccos(-1/2) = 120
x = sin(120) = sqrt(3)/2
@maiden basalt this is why your the goat
I need help with 1 more
I literally have no idea how to do this to be honest
@maiden basalt please if you can literally I need you rn
lim(x->1, x/2) = 1/2
lim(x->1, (3x²/2) - 1) = (3/2) - 1 = 1/2
both limits are equal, meaning the function is continuous, therefore differentiable
cuz x = 1, we use (3x²/2) - 1
f'(x) = 3x
f'(1) = 3(1) = 3
tysm
can you check if this is right
@maiden basalt ima need you for like 30 min to help me with these please I promise I won’t ask you for 2 weeks I really need this
it should be
-(3/(x+2) - 4) = -3/(x+2) + 4
Tysm 2 more really quick
this one
Is 1 written like this
i need help with this @maiden basalt
(a) g(x) = 1/(6 ln x - 2 ln x)
g(x) = 1/(4 ln x)
y = 1/(4 ln x)
4y ln x = 1
ln x = 1/4y
x = e^(1/4y)
g^-1(x) = e^(1/4x)
b) domain -> all x, x ≠ 0
range -> 0 < y < inf
yes
no
multiply by
(sqrt(x²+3x)+sqrt(54))/(sqrt(x²+3x)+sqrt(54))
can you write down what you mean im confused
multiply numerator and denominator by
sqrt(x²+3x)+sqrt(54)
