Okay so apparently the expression 4x^2 + 2x + 6's derivative is not 8x + 2. Does anyone have any ideas on how to help?

I don't see how it can't be 8x + 2

power rule then constant multiple with x rule

then constant makes 6 to 0

idk why i don't get them???? for another question (i eventually got it but fuck) is

let f(x) = |x - 9|

lim_x -> 9- f(x) - f(9)/x-9

and apparently you don't plug in x at all bc you just get 1, but it's negative bc it's coming from the negative side
