For the first one, have a perpendicular drawn from B to the ground

Base gets divided as X and 350-X

Use tan for each of the sides and eliminate the common height

Tan(52°) = height from B/X
Height from B = tan(52°)*X

Tan(34°) = height from B/350-X
Height from B = Tan(34°)*(350-X)

Both are equal so
Tan(52)X = Tan (34)(350-X)

Find X and substitute it in any of the height equations above

#

Btw Tan(52) is ≈ 4/3
