-f(x) means reflection over the x-axis meaning the x-intercepts of y = f(x) is equal to that of y = -f(x)
yes it's wrong
why?
x-intercepts: (-6, 0), (-3, 0)
y-intercept: (0, -11)
try to reflect f(x) over the x-axis
urwelcome
@manic mortar
can u help again?
easier question but im still stuck
i know c
but m is confusing me
there is a point (1, -2) other than the y-intercept
-5
how
use the y-intercept and this point
m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)
m = (3 - (-2))/(0 - 1)
y-intercept means the point where the graph intersects the y-axis
meaning x = 0
and vice versa
so m = 1/-1?
no
5/-1
3 - (-2) = 3 + 2
yes
so m = 5?
