So I derived that function and got 2x/2root(x^2+5), then f'(2) gives me 2/3 but idk what to do next.

#

this is what im supposed to get but idk where y-3 and x-2 came from

derivative of root(x^2+5)?

#

its 1/2 * root(f(x)) * f'(x)

#

so 2x/xroot(x^2+5)

This isn’t uni

#

Your using the chain rule to differentiate

#

Then evaluate at 2 it looks like

#

And find the y coordinate through the x in the question
