#Need help interpreting weird problem

If the rates are all the same, then wouldn't we have A'(t) = B'(t) = C'(t) = 0 for every t >= 0? And then A, B and C are constant. But that would be really lame. How is the salt going to move around if the rates of transport are all the same? Makes no sense to me

so i think i figured out, but i'd appreciate confirmation about the diff equations that A and B satisfy if anyone would
