which one
the domain is f(x)any real number except 4 and 5 and g(x) the domain is any real number except 3 and 4
i want to see what i did wrong
it keeps telling me its wrong when i check it
why?
you have switched the answers from b and c
ye i guess so
wait
you can choose any x value without it being undefined
huh
5^2-9(5)+20=0
wait can i ask a quick question
so 0/x is ok but x/0 is not ok
i know that it cant be 4 or 5
is that what the domain is
or is the domain any real number
look
what is the domain
the domain is all the x values the function is defined at
ok
any number divided by 0 is not defined
so in this case the domain is any real number
but 0 divided by any real number is 0
except 4 and 5
however g(3) is 0 so f(3) / 0 is not ok
i was thinking the upper of the fraction =0 would mean its undifined but its the lower part
yes
so i basically just switch b and c
yes
have you set 3, 4 for b)
here
