Let the shared side be $y$. Then, $\sin 39^{\circ}=\frac{y}{7} \implies y=7 \sin 39^{\circ}$ \ \ $\implies \tan 55^{\circ}=\frac{7 \sin 39^{\circ}}{x}$ \ \ $x=\frac{7 \sin 39^{\circ}}{\sin 55^{\circ}} \approx 5.4$

In the future, please indicate if you already solved the question tho
so ppl don't bother answering a question that doesn't need to be answered

well it does say 1 dp so yeah lol
nah but when i did it
its was like -0.1 whole number
so if i rounded it to 1dp, 5.6 it would be like 5.7 or 4.7 or 4.6
weird
5.6 is already to 1 dp tho
did you round in between
that may be why
so when doing it in the calculator
i did a shortcut
but it doesnt always work
so i think thats why

unless i was meant to do somth else?
still confused icl
that's fine, idk then, maybe your calculator was in the wrong mode or smthn?
no i checked its in mode 1
idk then
its ok
