Hint: substitute y = x^(2/3)
Because it will revert to y^ for the equation, then that means I can proceed with quadratic formula right?
thank you for your help!
@copper slate
yes
urwelcome
@copper slate so I have completed the quadratic and ended up with x^(2/3) = 5+/- sqrt(1) / 2. I'm not quite sure how to actually multiple the reciprocal to the other side. In my head I keep wanting to this x = (5+sqrt(1) / 2) ^(3/2) and x = (5-sqrt(1) / 2) ^(3/2) but It doesn't look right to me.
to do this*
or I just don't know how to proceed from this point....
