I just need to like kinda understand the concept and how to use the log table for Index numbers

$log_b(x) = a$

can be written as

#

$b^a = x$

echo cipherBOT

that is what a logarithm functionally is

What does it mean tho?? Sorry I actually really struggle with understanding log and derivatives

ight so

#

the base remains the same

#

@little nest

#

for examble

#

$2^3 = 8$

echo cipherBOT

@little nest u here 💀 ?

#

ight so anyway

#

look at it this way

#

take the base 2 as the "rate of growth"

#

and the exponent will be how many times it grows yeah?

#

and 8 will be the end product

#

for example if the exponent is -1

#

it grows backwards

#

so its still growing by 2 but its just backwards (getting smaller) instead of going forwards (getting bigger) like a positive exponent

#

the log basically is just the inverse function

#

it just asks u the exponent or how many times it "grows"

#

credit : eddie woo on yt

#

ight lemme get back to trig rn hope you understood intensecri
