ight so anyway
look at it this way
take the base 2 as the "rate of growth"
and the exponent will be how many times it grows yeah?
and 8 will be the end product
for example if the exponent is -1
it grows backwards
so its still growing by 2 but its just backwards (getting smaller) instead of going forwards (getting bigger) like a positive exponent
the log basically is just the inverse function
it just asks u the exponent or how many times it "grows"
