Because leagues were added with gems increase per league but they never added gems increase in trophy roads of characters, so you still cant get a skin as a f2p fast. 41x 250 gems is 10k ish.

So you need to be insanely active to get a skin or example for this Henry skin, 20 weeks + 💀

Psychologically really cool to see people have strong opinions on how much ingame currency an ingame skin should be exchanged for to be considered morally correct
The exchange rate to money or game time/success is completely uncontrolled and any opinion you can have can become completely obsolete the next day when the model changes one way or another. And it has been changed drastically over time.
