Lesson learned: don't bother thinking events are more than another fancy splash screen as long as they don't give probabilities in their ads.
For all we know they might as well give it to 0.001 percent of players based on AI ranking for who is most likely to spend more money upon receiving something. shrug

Well that's the whole archetype of Max's abilities, he's been designed to use pheromone and the devs know it, and so do the players
