What does it mean when people say to research this material to 3 star rarity, I don't see any options to researching anything in general.. (Stuck at "attempt to create green potion")

You can only research herbs, and you do it by clicking on the herb research option when talking to an alchemist

I got my Red potion to lvl 10 on all 3

I haven’t done potion advancement tho but I don’t think that’s required right?

As far as I know, you should be able to research herbs

#

Click on Potions and send a screenshot

It depends, for example there was this one I reported 5 months ago, and got fixed yesterday, and then there are some that get fixed a week later in the next patch, so I really can't guarantee you anything

I think I remember something like this happened to someone a while ago and they got pretty far in the story, and then they said "I haven't upgraded my potion"
So we were like "why not???" And then when they did it the problem solved itself

Nah, there's one potion you can get without any herb research
