I've been diving and am in the golden kelp area. While I was down there, I caught a critter and my game just froze. I wasn't around being blocked by anything the 2nd time, the first time I was near some trash. When I hit the escape key, nothing happened. I can't move my character, I can't use my tools, nothing. The robot still moves and the ocean currents are still going, but my character can't do anything.
I closed out the game and opened it up again. Thankfully, the game saved right after I'd teleported to the dock area. I went to the end, hit "dive", and then carried on with trying to clear the ocean floor before it froze. I only tried it 2x before submitting this report.
I'm playing on PC
Game version: beta version v 1.3-428 (I created a brand new character named Anidori with a farm named Harmony for this beta.)
I use the keyboard and mouse.

I checked it. It didn't seem like it, but I'll check again. It happened a few more times after I posted this. I noticed that if I was impatient and tried to click away the box quickly, my game froze, but if I waited and didn't click right away, the game was fine.
Also, my game only froze on catching the critters underwater unlike this one. Probably why I didn't equate it as similar. I had no issues with the bugs on land.
Reading through this users post 2 things pop out.
1: this is similar to me, "It's also happening with Ocean's Critter on day 8th of Spring, I've made the mistake of quickly skipping the text and there I am, fixed in time"
2: This also happened a few times: "It was glowing golden as I catch it for some reason, then the game freeze."
