• for the insects: are you sure you actually caught them and didnt get them from trash/mystery nodes? if so that doesnt count as "catching" them
  -for the events were you playing before the hangout events were added? those are different than heart events

Could you let us know around what FPS you’re getting on the Steam Deck when this happens?
If possible, a short video showing the issue with FPS visible would be super helpful.

Also:

• Could you share a screenshot of your insect journal? And could you try checking if the missing insects issue still persists?

• Could you describe more about which villager events you saw initiate again?

• Could you please record the issue around the pier so it’s clearer for us to see?

Now that you ask im only about 80% sure I caught them before but that and the character events showing again makes me think it's a similar issue?

Goodness, for the life of me I can't remember what the event that triggered twice was, if I remember I'll let you know. But atleast if anyone else is having the same issue we know it's not just my steam deck?

The boat that was near the pier has gone, though there's still the walking through animals and getting off the horse that could be improved if possible please 🙏🏻

Oh and by events I mean when you walk into an area and a villager is doing something so you join them ?
