I'm a Steam PC user, I have played 450+ hours previously but stopped playing before the 1.1 update while waiting for more content. I recently tried to play but now the game won't even launch, no loading screen, no error message, nothng. I press the Steam Play button, it turns to launching for a few seconds and then goes back to the green Play button. I have verified files, uninstalled and reinstalled, turned off firewall, changed launch options, updated graphics cards when applicable, nothing has worked. Please help, I really want to play, I've been following since the kickstarter and patiently waited for the spookky festival outfits and now I can't even enjoy it. 😭

May I ask if the issue still persists in your game? could you record a video and send it here for further review?

Could you please double-check a couple of things for us?

• After clicking Play, check Task Manager for a few seconds to see if the game appears there (even briefly), in case it’s starting headless.
• Try launching the game directly from the .exe file in the install folder.

If possible, could you also record a short video showing what happens when you click Play? That would really help us investigate further.

Hi Ardian, I fixed the issue. It turns out my vpn was causing a issue. i dont know how to exactly expain it but an 'LSP' configuration was casuing an issue with CI loading. After uninstalling that from the vpn Coral Island worked as well as another game i was having issues with. I did not suspect my vpn because my 450+ hours previously i used the same vpn as well. Whist going through an error report of the other game and sending the crash report throught chat gpt i saw the potential cause and it seems that was it.
