Idk if this is the right place but every time my friend tries to join a co op server it gets to the character choosing then crashes on xbox. Everyone we play with on coral has xbox so I don't think that's the issue. Idk how to fix it. We've uninstalled and reinstalled, fully restarted the Xbox, turned on and off cross play. Player 1 has the server and player 2 can join but player 3 tries and it crashes to the Xbox home screen.

Just to clarify — if Player 3 is the one creating the Co-Op session, do any of the other players crash when they try to join them? 😲

Player 1 is the one creating the session. Only player 3 crashes. Player 2 joins fine
I see what you meant. Player 3 can make a co op game and players 1 and 2 don't crash but when player 3 tries to join player ones server player 3 crashes.

To help us look into this a bit deeper, could you help us with a few details below?
- What platform is your friend playing on as the host (Xbox Series X / Series S / Xbox PC)?
- Which region are you and your friend playing from? (Americas, Asia, Korea, Japan, or Europe)
- How’s the internet connection on Player 3’s side? Is it usually stable?
- Has this happened before, or were you able to connect normally in the past?
- When you have time, could you share a screenshot of the NAT type from Settings > Network Settings for both you and your friend?
- Do you remember roughly when this happened (real-life date & time)?

We’re still investigating this and haven’t identified the exact cause or fix yet. Most reports so far are coming from Xbox players, and we’re seeing signs that it may be related to the Xbox account.
There’s a similar case here https://discord.com/channels/623097219628662784/1431133253531598869 — could you please check the video and let us know if it looks like the same issue your friend is experiencing?
In the meantime, could you also try having your friend host the session while you join their world, and see if that makes any difference?

Hi hi! Since it happens before the character creation screen even loads, would you mind sharing a video from your side showing what’s happening? That would really help us take a closer look 🙏
Also, just to clarify:
- Does this issue happen when you create a brand new save file?
- Or were the host and Player 2 already playing together for a few in-game days, and then Player 3 joined in the middle of the session?

Sure. It happened the day player 1 created the server. So from day 1 player 3 crashes.

The team is currently investigating this. We’ve also seen a few similar reports before (one of them is in this thread: https://discord.com/channels/623097219628662784/1431133253531598869)
Right now, we suspect the issue might be tied to the account itself, since some players mentioned they changed consoles but the crash still happened on the same account.
To help with the investigation, do you happen to have access to another Xbox account? (Maybe from a close family member or friend?) If possible, could you try signing in with that account on your Xbox and see if it’s able to join the session? That would really help us narrow things down (and if you don't then no worries ❤️)
