Crash decorating and Leaving places

As the titles says, Im crashing a LOT wile decorating or leaving places, taking items from chests or factories, all in MP.

Could you share a bit more detail, such as which platform you’re playing on, whether you were the host or the guest, and what was happening right before the crash? If you’re able to share a short video of the issue, that would help us a lot as well.

A big hello from germany! Me and my bff have the same issues. I´m the host and she´s my guest. Everytime She or I are in the decoration menu, there´s a possibility of 80%, that one of us has a game crash. Same thing´s with the architect table and in the shed.

Everytime we place an item, select the item and start to move it the game crashes. (Unity Crash, we`re both playing on the PC tho and the problems only occures in MP)

Exactly, thats what happens to me. I play as host on the PC. I dont have video or something like that but the description of the error is exactly that.

Title: Game Crash while decoration, moving or placing items in the players house, shed and on the farm.
Reproduction Steps: My guest´s goes into the decoration menu, grabs any item and start´s to move it into the room. Right after that the game crashes.
Repro Rate: mostly every time. 98/100
In-Game Date & Time: Every hour, day, night,
Players & Platform: 2 out of 4 players, I´m the host (P1), @stoic drift (P2) is the guest. both PC user.
Game Version: v1.2b-1245
Input Mode: Keyboard & Mouse

You mentioned that the crash occurred after the guest entered decoration mode—could you please let us know whether the guest was decorating their own house or attempting to decorate another player’s house at the time? She's mostly in the underwater area.
We could do some testing when she's in different zones.

Ah, well noted! Could you let us know what she was doing in the underwater area, such as if she was doing underwater farming, clearing out trash, or finishing any quest?

Host here! Mostly I was under the water farming stuft or questing / cleaning to k deeper areas, but from time to time it happened, while I was with my guest on land (Not the same area tho) 🤔

But we will try some stuff later and let you guys know after!

My crash happened after:
bought INDOOR decoration online(PC), got it, put in the decoration storage and went to place it.
I got my old fireplaces and the TV (space key) und wanted to place a new fireplace (CRASH).
My game went offline, i had to restart fully, the fireplace is gone, like vanished from earth.
Host was doing: harvesting crops
After this time, i could place everything else without problem. (e.g: Windows, TV and a second fireplace)

Additional Info: Its the second time the Item with which the crash happened vanished. First it was a plate-display-rack-thingy, now the Medival Fireplace

We tried some scenarios that will hopefully help you guys!

My first Crash Occured, when I bought some items over the computer, took them out of the mailbox and placed them into my house storage. After that I switched into decoration mode. While picking some new items out of the storage, the bar at the bottom (that shows every item you can select) started to flicker. After around 30sec - 60sec the game crashed.
My Guest was harvesting some crops at the time. (on our farm)

The second crash: This time I bought a few items from the store, placed them into the house storage, opened the decoration mode and it crashed.

My Guest She was on the farm lot, standing still, minding here business, looking at the flowers 😄

Other scenarios where we only used the items we already placed nothing happened. (My Guest, grabbing and moving them around) At that time I moved around, ported to different locations (on land or under the sea) harvested crops, removed trash, quested, triggered cutscenes etc.)

Do you think you'd be able to try to replicate the issue and record a video from both the Host's and Guest POV? It'll really help us observe every detail that leads up to the crash!

Hello! So, I haven't been playing a lot this day because of work and I'm wainting for the next update (reached almost the end of the game hehe) But while I was playing it was still happening yes.
