I am having a hard time with multiplayer. My husband and I are trying to connect, but keep getting the "connection is too unstable" error. We have tried both hosting, paused firewall, added it as an exception, restarted computers, and restarted the router. We just bought the game and wanted to play together (we each have a copy)

I have a smilar issue. Wife and I got the game but she cannot join or even start a multiplayer game

we have tried for hours to get it to work. She gets a message saying she cannot connect to the server or something simlar, even when starting her own multiplayer save

Just got similar issue!
Me, boyfriend and my 2 friends wanted to continue our session. Me and my friends live in same city and we could connect normally. Boyfriend lives in other country, have 'connection unstable' no matter what done, but we all restarted our PC's, routers, steam, games from ground zero. None worked so far. Boyfriend doesn't have any issues with any other service requiring internet to work, be it just browser or games, downloading or uploading stuff.
We are all on PC and all have copies on steam.

Does your boyfriend play other multiplayer games? If so, do those run smoothly?

For my case, my wife can play other games no issue. It's only this one that fails

Hi hi friends! Can you please tell me your game platform, who was the host and the guest (and guest's game platform too), and who keeps getting the issue in connecting to multiplayer session? 😮

  • my wife cannot launch a multiplayer game at all. She cannot see other users sessions
  • tried reinstalling, deleting all game files / folders, windows updates, gpu updates, etc

Hello,
My girlfriend and I are also having this issue. I am the host and she is the guest. She plays on PC and I play on PS5, but she always gets an error message saying that her connection is unstable. Is there a solution for this yet?
