Quickly Skipping Dialogue Causes Blank Text Softlock | Stairway Games | Page 1

Trying to quickly skip through text has a chance to bug dialogue with an NPC, trapping you in conversation unable to do anything. Cannot pause or advance dialogue.
To reproduce this bug, simply spam click the E or Left Mouse Button to advance dialogue while talking to an NPC. If you are fast enough, you will get softlocked and forced to restart the day.
How Frequent: Uncommon, but considering the importance of dialogue and NPCs in the game, I'd consider it to happen potentially every hour or two (for me at least).

I'm sure I could probably repeat it fairly easily with an autoclicker, but it happened to me while I was impatiently mashing the E button 😅

Apologies, I am having difficulty recreating it. I suppose it just happened at random. I even tried with an auto-clicker and after talking to people 40-ish times, still nothing.

If it happens again, I will action replay it.
