#Saved data corrupted

When you press OK and then try opening your save file again, does it work? 😮
Sometimes the game acts like normal and I’ll get lucky and lose no progress, other times, I lose just a day or so and I’ve had my save completely wiped twice.
Returning to menu doesn’t cause this message to pop up but closing the app and reopening it later does.
Ah, got it—so this pop-up always shows whenever you launch the game from PS Home?
And when you said you lost a day or so, do you mean the game actually crashed, or that when you loaded your save, the progress had rolled back a day or two? 😮
Yes. It shows when the game is first launched but never crashes. The game is smooth. It’s like the save just disappears from the load game menu like it was never there

They all deleted and went back to default like this
Noted! If you start a new game, play for a day, then go back to the main menu—does the new save file you created show up? 😮
It does until I close app
And when you reopened the game, the save file was missing? Did you happen to see a loading icon in the middle of the screen?
Correct. It’s just empty like the screenshot. No loading icon

- Go to Settings > Storage > Console Storage > Saved Data > Pencil Details
- Take a screenshot of the details and send it here
I followed the steps but there doesn’t seem to be a pencil details option when clicking saved data

The first screenshot is immediately after clicking saved data and the second is if I click on ps5 games and hover to the game

Hi hi, this issue should be fixed in the latest update, v1.2-1241. Could you try loading your save file to see if you’re now able to continue playing? 🙏
So far the save file hasn’t been corrupted after multiple attempts 👍

After a couple days, I tested what causes the corruption since I happened to experience it again. It is caused by closing the application before the main menu loads up.
Ah, so your save file got corrupted again? When you mentioned closing the app before the main menu loads, do you mean going straight back to the PS5 home screen, or turning off the console completely? 😮
Yeah. Starting the game up and immediately closing it to go to the ps5 Home Screen before the main menu pops up causes it. I tested it on a new account so I wouldn’t sacrifice my main save so that’s all good. A simple troubleshoot is to not close the app until you’re in the saved file to be safe. Love the game so far! One of the most enjoyable farming games!

I have a quick question: do all of your save files become corrupted when you follow these steps? Also, when you load back into the game, do you always get the same corrupted popup as before? 😮
Yeah. When it doesn’t get corrupted, the pop up is never seen but when it does show, a backup has a chance of not being wiped but for the most part, it all gets wiped.
