#Cow’s Name Censored

Nothing serious (it doesn’t bother me, and I wasn’t sure that it counted as a bug) but I thought I’d let you know. I named my cow “Cow” because I was too lazy to think of a name, and it’s ended up as *** (like a censored swear word 😂). I even tried editing it in case I had typed it wrong, but it’s still censored. Not sure why it does that, and it’s not really an issue, I just wanted to let you know.
Thanks for all you do, I absolutely love the game, and just convinced my friend to buy it too!

Could you let us know the in-game date when the name first changed to censored, and the in-game date when you bought the cow?
Additionally, did you happen to restart the game after purchasing the cow? 😮

Of course! The black and white cow was purchased on Summer 1, Year 1, but I don’t think I noticed the censoring until Summer 2. The brown cow was purchased on Summer 8, Year 1 and was also named “Cow”. I noticed later that game day when I went to pet it that it seemed to be missing it’s name, which I’ve also seen with my chickens who have been named “Chicken” (I think the missing names may have to do with using the same name on different animals). I went to the barn to edit the second cow’s name, but it remained blank until the next game day, Summer 9, when I noticed that it was censored too.

I bought this one today on Summer 15, Year 1, also named Cow, and this is how it looked when I went to check on it
