Hi! I tried to use key words to try to find my answers but I’m also trying to avoid as many spoilers as possible 😅😭 I am in Year 1, Spring 16? Could you believe it took me to Spring 5 to find the carpenters house, and Spring 8 to figure out how to pull up the map? 🫩😂 Yeah, a little behind. I know there’s no “wrong” way of playing, but I don’t like feeling like I’m not in a place I need to be.

(Other games that I have been told that may have similar mechanics: I’ve never played stardew valley, only Palia and Animal Crossing, so that’s my only experience I can draw to not be completely clueless!)

  1. Obviously, we’re farmers so our main point is to sell crops. So I shouldn’t be hanging onto the crops, I should be selling them. But I’m doing the ocean quests, clearing my farm from debris, catching bugs, etc— and my energy goes down pretty quickly, so how do I min-max that?

  2. What’s the best things to sell early game other than crops? I’m hesitant to sell trash because, well things that usually are abundant early on that don’t respawn usually become more valuable down the road- so I feel like I’m stuck twiddling my thumbs while the day quickly passes me. So now I barely have two corals to rub between my fingers and I’m missing out on potential events I could have been ready for had I not been lacking. (Thank you, Cherry Blossom Festival + Judge Ross + my poor Turnip 🫩 )

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, even if you could point me in the right direction! Thank you!

Without spoiling anything I will advise that you should keep at least one of everything for quests and other things 🙊 And https://coralislandprofits.info Is a good site for min/maxing your crops. also the wiki is a godsend

You can make a lot of money making your farm big but it will consume your stamina from watering. When you unlock craftable ||water sprinkler|| from farming lvl 2, you should use that so you can save stamina doing other things. Also food to recover stamina, some food is better than other. The one I like to get is the vegan taco close to the blacksmith.

If the time feel too fast, go to the pause menu>setting>game time speed to 50%.

# dense hill That's cause you don't have a kitchen yet

Ah okay! That makes sense— one more hair brain question 😭 Because I started so late getting to the cavern I started with the Earth shaft, I’m not sure if that’s always what I’m supposed to start with or if it’s random? The first time I went in, it had different sparkled ores, and now every time I go it’s just colored stones— I don’t know if I bugged it; then it says get the elevator to work but it is working— & I don’t even know how to move up and down a level because there literally nowhere else to go? (This is the only thing left I’m stuck on, I swear!) Maybe it’s just user error, and I’ll sift through the wiki more

Spawn of ores and entrance are RNG, you can go to next floor immediately if you have ||rope|| but those are expensive to craft.

You're doing fine, just make sure to hit that lvl 5 checkmark if you can. Upgrade your tool and/or bring food to hit that lvl 5, 10, 15, 20, etc.

yeah just get home by 1:40 to clean up your inventory for the next day, you're basically buying 2 hours for 125 coins that kelps bugs and ores could buy back in 30 minutes or less early on
