MP disconnect occurring around 2100+ in game time. (3 times in a row) >.>
Please include a timer to restore connection, or give the host an option to end day/save recovery.
No one likes their time investment wasted, and that includes hobbies.

Hello @ivory lantern,
I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Could you confirm if the disconnect happened during the middle of your multiplayer session?

Also, when it occurred, did you experience a crash (for example, the Unreal Engine window popping up and the game closing)?

# untold tundra Hello <@193596557541638145>, I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Could you confirm ...

Yes, it happened during MP sessions. I was host. There was one client, who was on the same network as i was. We both disconnected at the same time. Prompting a choice to log back in to return from offline mode. Choosing to reconnect was a success with little delay.

The last time was around this post 0730 EDT 20AUG. The other disconnect times were roughly back to back, the length being the equivalent of morning to 2000-2100 in game time with the time settings for a max time/ ingame day.

Length of in-game day seems like a coincidence as later in the evening we were back to not ending the day until after midnight and experienced no disconnects.

It could be an issue with my ISP, or somewhere between steam or your end.

jk jk I found an app error in event viewer, only one, not during the other disconnects, so maybe this resulted when I closed the game to take a break

Hello! I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you. 🙇‍♀️
We've also received a similar report here #1405608473781342248 message - and still gathering more info. Some players mentioned they were able to fix the issue by:

  • Updating their drivers
  • Restarting their device
  • Making sure the Steam overlay is active
  • Running Steam as administrator

Could you give these steps a try as well? Hopefully one of them works for you, too!
