I am having an Issue where my chests auto sorts when I come to place an item in or take an item out. I had all my chests sorted to how I liked it and now I cannot do that no more as it just takes or places it to either from the chest to the inventory or from the inventory to the chest without letting me pick up the item and placing to where I would like.

Unfortunately, it was am intended feature, not a bug. A lot of backlash about it though, so hopefully teh devs are putting the toggle back

Came here just to see if other people were as bugged about it as me. I had all my seeds sorted by season to make it easier and now they're all jumbled and I HATE it.

If this isn't a bug, I respectfully request that the devs consider it a bug. Not being able to separate things in my chest is an absolute nightmare and is causing me to consider not playing until it's fixed or a mod fixes it.

OH god, I just asked a question about this in #1027414085656129616 because I haven't played in awhile and thought I completely forgot how to move things around in storage. It's so much easier to find my fruit and veggies when I organized by color.

For crops i sort by season, and then auto sort... But when I get the auto chests I want to be able to control what's being processed first, rather than leaving it up to the auto sort, especially as there's no real rhyme nor reason to the sorting tha I can see

I really hope they revert this change. I struggle a lot with finding items in my chest now. Imo it was way better to keep autosorting as optional, not as a forced auto thing.

It's a shame if its really considered as a feature. I spent many times collecting and organizing items on all my chests. Some of them are jumbled now, and it makes me really upset. At least I only play for a day.
It looks like I'm not going to play the game any further until things revert back to normal
