Well…here it goes I have a steam deck and my save game file is corrupted…I went to the cloud downloaded my save game file from the cloud rename it dailysave_0 and nothing. This is so frustrating…I have 160 hours into the game. Naturally it stays don’t worry we have a back up…nothing..nothing in the back up folder at all

Can you try opening your Steam Cloud by going to this link: https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage
Once you're there, search for Coral Island, then click on Show Files and take a screenshot of everything you see. Thanks! 😊

Unfortunately, if your save file isn't in Steam Deck storage or Steam Cloud, there's a chance it didn’t sync correctly. Sometimes, Steam Cloud sync issues can happen, preventing a save file from being properly backed up or restored.
That said, it's quite rare for both the main save and backup to be completely gone! 😢
Do you remember what you were doing right before the save file got corrupted? Any details might help us understand what happened.

@red relic you could try starting new with New Game +, aka with more money from day 1. Check out this thread, there are saves with different amount of starting funds (including 20 million).
