I go into the Town Hall. Change my name, confirm, go out, in the menu it still shows my old name, NPCs still call me by my old name.
The next in-game day, I go back to the town hall and it's at the old name.....

not only my journal but the NPCs still call me by the old name and when I go to the Town Hall to change my name again it brings up the old name.
And, as far as the video....maybe I can do one? Give me a minute
looks like I can't without whatever "Nitro" is.
But I went to the town hall, changed my name from "Darunia" to "Saria".
confirmed the choice. look in the menu, and it has the old name. I go to bed, next day, I check the menu, and same old name. I go to the Town Hall again, still has the same old name.

If you wish to share your video via google drive, you can upload the video on your google drive first. Once it's done uploading, you can right click on it and select share > copy link, and paste the link here 😄
