Selling Machines

Does anyone know how sell or get rid of machines such as the furnace or bee hive?

you cannot.

You cannot sell and make money. but if you want to remove something that you don't want, then you could use a pickaxe or axe to destroy it; then it comes into your inventory, and then drag it to the trash in your inventory. (you will see there's a trash button)
